Bronwyn has extensive experience in acting as mediator in various matters and disputes ultimately resulting in resolution. Her experience also includes presiding as chairperson or arbitrator in all types of employment-related matters. As a result, Bronwyn is able to provide independent expert advice in trials, arbitrations and similar proceedings.
In addition to all contentious and non-contentious matters, Bronwyn also deals with other types of claims relating to, inter alia, collective bargaining, and organisational rights disputes. She has been involved in defending large scale claims by trade unions and a number of high profile urgent interdicts for large commercial clients. She has also been approached by both employees and employers to act in interdictory actions such as restraint of trade breaches heard in the Labour Court.
Bronwyn assists clients in large scale restructuring exercises and also furnishes legal advice in transactional work that relates to transfers of business and the implications of Section 197 of the Labour Relations Act, if and where applicable.
