
With over 15 years’ experience, Ryszard provides national and international clients with simple and effective solutions to complex legal issues. He has acted for a broad range of clients including multinational corporations, listed companies, business rescue practitioners, insolvency practitioners and creditors.
Ryszard specialises in commercial litigation with a particular focus on business rescue, insolvency and restructuring. His expertise extends to all forms of contractual disputes, debt recovery and ICT law.
In addition, Ryszard specialises in artificial intelligence and privacy law and regularly conducts training sessions for clients and their internal teams in relation to the Protection of Personal Information Act of 2013, the Cybercrimes Act 19 of 2020 and the General Data Protection Regulation of 2016.
Ryszard obtained his B.A. and LL.B. degrees at the University of the Witwatersrand where, in 2018, he also qualified for his Masters degree in ICT Law (with a thesis focusing on the South African legal position on Artificial Intelligence).
