Darryl’s commercial law practice also involves advising on disposals of businesses, including cross border transactions, related regulatory issues (such as the Takeover Regulation Panel Code and exchange control), share buy-backs, joint ventures, partnership and shareholder arrangements, private equity transactions, structuring of management arrangements, corporate re-financings, restructurings and disposal transactions and corporate due diligence.

As a conveyancer, Darryl advises on all types of conveyancing matters, property developments, acquisitions and disposals of property and property holding entities, real estate investment trusts, commercial and residential property finance and security, mortgage and notarial bonds, commercial and residential leases, development leases, property due diligence investigations, sectional title and cluster developments, consolidations and subdivisions.

Darryl has also been published in leading publications and features on podcasts that share his insightful knowledge with a broad audience.

Darryl obtained his B.Com. and LL.B. degrees at the University of South Africa (UNISA).
