COVID19 - LOCKDOWN. In an attempt to prevent the spread of Covid19 and the concomitant loss of life, our Government has implemented measures which will have the unavoidable effect of businesses no longer being able to be conducted entirely as usual.

Fluxmans supports the stringent but essential steps taken by our Government, notwithstanding that the lockdown will cause constraints in the service offerings of many industries including our own. We have put in place measures for key personnel to be able to work from home. For a number reasons not all our staff will be in a position to do so.

All of our directors, attorneys and other selected professional staff have been provided with mobile solutions to attend to as much work as possible. Please feel free to contact any of us as you have done in the past should you require any assistance during these tough and desperate of times. Service of documents and legal processes are subject to such directions as may be laid down by the judiciary from time to time.

Telephonic and video conferences can be scheduled with attorneys via Teams, Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts or other options.

Conveyancing and related matters will be subject to such directions as are laid down by the Registrar of Deeds. It is important to note, however that the Deeds Office, Municipal Clearance Departments and the offices of Managing Agents will be closed during the lockdown period.

The unprecedented times ahead of us will, I am sure, prove most challenging for all of us, but not insurmountable.
